We fell in love with the hand made qualities of this mid century wood desk lamp. Large and functional, it appears to be handmade likely in the 1940's-1950's. Wood deco styling is apparent in the base. Double pole arm connected by old brass finish wing nuts. Turn those wing nuts and the lamp extends down and up, almost to a complete vertical position. Even the shade can be adjusted. The shade was on the lamp when found and may be original. Parchment paper in a deep beige with some surface wear. Original wiring in working condition. 60 watt bulb recommended. Working condition however new owner may choose to rewire. On/Off switch is on the lamp's cord. Original wood finish with some surface wear typical with age and use. Maker unknown. When extended up straight the lamp is 46" H. When extended at a right angle with the shade tilted down, it is approx 21" W. Bottom pole when straight up is 18" H. Top pole is 21" Base is 6.5" W x 5.5"
