Mid Century Danish Rocking Chair

Found in a beautiful estate outside of NYC, this mid century Danish rocking chair was housed in a pretty corner and sat, lovingly used, for nearly 50 years. Reminiscent of famous makers designs such as Selig, Larsen, etc. Maker is unknown as we could not find a marking. Wood possibly teak. Original blue striped upholstery that lived underneath a slip cover for most of it's life.
Original finish on it's wood frame with some wear, especially on arm ends. Frame is tight and strong. The original blue striped upholstery is in good shape with no tears or holes and has a button back detail. The front lower seat edge of the upholstery is detached from the frame. This could be repaired unless the buyer chooses to reupholster the frame. Some minor spots/surface wear throughout. One green mark which may be evidence of old glue/felt on backrest corner. Seat height when reclined/rocked back is an average 17.5'
