Large Mid Century Framed Blue Tile Slab - Wall Art

Some time ago, a person in a pursuit to create art from ordinary objects, created this piece of wall art from a heavy section of blue tile. Graphic and industrial, the blue tiles are bright and have a mottled, bumpy texture. We hung it in our gallery and it lit the room up. Fierce blue colors against the dark brown wood really made a stark and vibrant contrast.

The slab of tile is framed in a walnut wood frame. The entire heavy piece of grouted tile is attached to an old piece of wood.
Frame has minor surface wear. Tiles are in beautiful un-chipped condition.
