A large and rare early 20th century (likely 1920's) incised terracotta vase made by Czechoslovakia maker Johann Maresch. Marked on the bottom JM 1052. Art Nouveau and Art Deco in design and style. A heavily decorated display of vines, leaves, birds and animals cover this art vase.. We love the muted beige glaze.
There are a few tiny chips as shown in the photos. The surface has some patina and is in as found condition.
