Kay Kellogg was a painter in the 1940's and 1950's and showed her work at many places, including the Providence Water Color Club exhibitions.
These large 41.5" high paintings were found in Rhode island and are a pair of lovely florals on a black ground in original wood frames. The sweet animals on the bottom of each make them perfect for a child's room. We love the for any room.
Each is signed Kay Kellogg on the bottom. Each painting has it's original Providence Water Color Club Exhibition tag on it's reverse side.We date these painting to around 1949.
Wood frame in original grey finish with minor surface wear and patina. Frame is 1" thick. Paintings are on painter's board and in very good vintage condition. Back side has old paper backing to cover the painting board and can be removed due to age and ripping.
