It is just simply about this piece's charming form that makes us want to display it oin our kitchen or butler's pantry. Believed to be English, this old tea kettle has beautiful lines and a great shape. A wood lid knob and a wood handle make it even more fun! For those who collect tea kettles or are looking to create a vignette, maybe even a great prop piece, this one has all the bells and whistles.
As you can see, this piece has been lovingly used for a long time. We have not shined up the surface and is being sold as found in am old Westchester County, NY estate. The area where the spout attaches to the kettle body has wear and "moves" a bit. Likely not a functional kettle and is for display. Patina, surface wear, some dings etc. We love it just the way it is!
