We spend 1/2 our home time living in a country rural setting. And the other 1/2 living in NYC. Regardless, we have an appreciation for both country Folk Art/Americana and hand made country antiques, as well as more urban, highly designed decor. They all mix and work together.

This set of 3 antique wood farmhouse serving utensils caught our eye. Maybe it's the old used patina and the understanding that they were lovingly used for decades. Hand made. Great patina. Wall hanging? Display in a vessel?

The item on the left is an old laminated wooden Scoop. The back of the Scoop reads, "The Laminate Wood Co. Chicago Pat'd Sept 12, 82" as in 1882. The scoop laminate has separated and there is some splitting and cracking along the leading edge. This Scoop is in otherwise good condition. The Scoop is about 9 1/2" long and about 5 3/4" wide at the widest point in the mouth of the scoop.

The large wide spoon at left is a Spoon / stir Paddle and measures about 10" long and about 5 1/4" across the widest spot. There is no writing on this Spoon. The spoon is in good condition. There is a chip on the leading edge of the spoon.

The middle spoon is a standard wooden spoon and measures about 11" long with the spoon being about 2 3/4" across. The handle reads, "Medellin, Columbia". This spoon is in good condition with no splits, cracks or chips.
