Attributed to the iconic mid century design by Adrian Pearsall, and also of Milo Baughman, this lounge chair has incredible lines and form. The round back and low slung seat was designed for comfort.
Tapered wood legs with brass caps.
We purchased this chair from a Westchester county, NY home. In the 1970's the original owner had this incredible "eye candy" slip cover made for the chair. Zipper back enclosure. Welted edges. Bright, vibrant and one of the most fun chairs we have seen in awhile.
The original upholstery is beige and is on the chair body. The seat cushion appears to have an updated interior cushion which does not have the original beige fabric. The seat cushion cover also has a zipper enclosure. The seat is soft and comfortable as intended. The slip cover upholstery is in very good condition with minor surface wear.
The underside shows some stamped markings on the wood frame. The wood legs are in their original finish and have some minor surface wear. The brass legs caps have brass patina and are in as found condition.
