This 1940's set of wrought iron garden furniture makes a pretty statement on your patio, porch or sunroom. Intricate turned scrolls create Summery seating. The set came from a Connecticut estate where it lived in a screened sunporch overlooking the Long Island Sound. The upholstered cushions appear newer than the frames of the love seat and pair of chairs. The light green and light cream striped fabric breathes a blast of fresh air and works well with other upholstered pieces or room colors in your space.
Use this set as is or paint in any color suited in your space. The set frames are tight and support a lot of weight. The cushions are soft yet firm as intended. Each chair has a slightly different back than the other which we believe was the maker's intent. The iron has not been repainted and is in as found condition. Some patina, a few rust spots. One separation of the top chair rail as shown.
